French Quiche with Leeks

Preparation time: 10 - 20 minutes
Baking time: 30 - 45 minutes

Kitchenware
• big bowl
• pan
• baking tin (Ø 26 cm)
• fork • knife
Normally you need a measuring cup but since I didn't have one I just used the cream cup to measure the quantity of milk.
Ingredients
• 1 French "pâté brisée" (shortcrust pastry) bought or homemade
• 1 leek
• 1-2 tablespoon oil
• 200 ml liquid cream
• 200 ml milk
• 3 eggs
• salt
• pepper
• nutmeg
1. Preheat the oven at 180 °C.
2. Chop the leeks and cook in a pan with some oil.


3. In a bowl mix the eggs with the cream and the milk, add the spices and blend them in.


4. Put the dough into the baking tin and pour the egg mixture into bake 30 to 40 minutes until the liquid mix solidifies.
